Looped: Non-Union, Volunteer
During the Summer of 1965, celebrated actress Tallulah Bankhead entered a Los Angeles recording studio to re-record (or “loop”) just one line of dialogue from her final film Die, Die My Darling. What should have taken about 8 minutes ended up taking 8 hours. What begins as an absurd, comedic battle of wills between Bankhead and the film editor turns into a poignant heart-to-heart, ultimately leading to a moment of mutual clarity and redemption.
