Based on the beloved hit film, SCHOOL OF ROCK is a high-voltage musical celebration of music, mentorship, and finding your voice. When struggling rock musician Dewey Finn poses as a substitute teacher at an elite prep school, he secretly transforms a class of straight-A students into a mind-blowing rock band. As the students discover their confidence and creativity, they learn the power of working together and supporting one another.

CURRENTLY SEEKING:

Adult Ensemble, Teachers / Parents / No Vacancy Band Members - ages 30 to 50.

We are holding auditions on Sunday, July 12th, from 10am to 5pm at HILLBARN THEATRE, located at 1285 E. Hillsdale Blvd, Foster City 94404.

Please note that this audition will last approximately 1 hour, with both music and sides being read during the call.

RATE: NON UNION $17.85/hr, up to 30 hours per rehearsal week.

REHEARSALS: Tuesday - Friday from 6:30pm to 10:30pm, Saturday/Sunday from 12pm to 6pm 

PERFORMANCES: Thursday @ 8pm (Preview), Fridays @ 8pm, Saturdays @ 2pm & 8pm, Sundays @ 2pm (with possible 7pm expansion performances on Sunday evenings - added with two weeks' notice).   Please note, every Thursday evening during the run, there is a brush-up rehearsal from 6:30pm to 9pm.
