Description

Hired by the King to dramatize a suspicious 1605 terrorist plot, William Shagspeare (”Shag”) uncovers a disturbing truth that forces his troupe into a deadly dilemma as the actors must choose between risking their necks or sensationalizing a lie. Playing August 28 through September 13, Equivocation is a gripping alternate history, blending humor, drama and intrigue into a witty and poignant ensemble piece, in which six actors play well over a dozen roles. Directed by Spreckels Artistic Director, Sheri Lee Miller, Equivocation features the powerful cast of Jereme Anglin, Drew Bolander, Kevin Bordi, Jeff Coté, Natalie Tichenor & Zane Walters.
